On this edition of Your Call, we revisit our conversation with whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg.

The United States has spent decades building a "doomsday machine" – nuclear firepower that could wipe out humanity. In his new book, The Doomsday Machine: Confessions of a Nuclear War Planner, Ellsberg documents the development of the US nuclear war plan and the flaws that make the system so unstable and dangerous. What can be done to defuse this deadly system, which is on a hair-trigger?
