Your Call: Media coverage of women, sexual assault, and reproductive rights

On the October 14th edition of Your Call, it’s our Friday media roundtable. This week, we’ll discuss coverage of gender, sexism, and abortion restrictions in the presidential election.

The recent video of Donald Trump boasting about sexual assault has become the defining moment of the presidential race. But where is coverage of the widespread attacks on women’s reproductive rights? In March, Trump's running mate Indiana Governor Mike Pence signed one of the most restrictive abortion laws in the country. Why isn’t that getting as much attention as Trump’s sexism?  Join us live at 10am with me, Rose Aguilar and you.

Guests:

Jodi Jacobson, Editor-in-Chief of Rewire

Sarah Kendzior, op-ed columnist for the Globe and Mail

Esther Lee, immigration and refugee reporter for ThinkProgress
