Today on Your Call: How safe is imported food?

On today’s Your Call, we’ll have a conversation about food safety. Fifteen percent of all food in the US is imported, but only one percent of that food is inspected. Over 80 percent of fish and 45 percent of the fresh fruit consumed comes from another country. Why is so little food inspected? Join us at 10 or email feedback@yourcallradio.org. What does food safety mean to you? Do you know where your food comes from? It’s Your Call, with Rose Aguilar and you.
