A spate of lynchings in India has Sandip thinking that the U.S. and his home country are not so different.
Those who attack do so because they feel they are taking their country back somehow in the name of the majority. They feel one of their own is in charge. And in that sense the new India and the new America have more in common than their leaders let on as they chart a path to a brave new world.
