“I see”
By Jasmin Barrera
Sanchez Elementary School
I see
I cannot see the world,
but I can see the words
and I can see the light
and I can see the moon
and I can see my mom’s laughs
and I see the dreams of my father
and I see my brother’s toys
and when my eyes are closed I
have scary dreams
and also when I sleep I cannot sleep
but I am a small kitty
and a little puppy
when I close my eyes
I am a ballerina
and I dance everywhere
“Yo veo” Spanish Version
yo veo
no puedo ver el mundo pero
puedo ver las palabras
y puedo ver la luz
y puedo ver la luna
y veo las risas se mi mama
y veo los sueños de mi papa
y veo los juguetes de mi hermano
y cuando mis ojos estan cerrados
tengo suenos malos
y tambien cuando sueño no puedo dormir
pero soy una gatita pequeña
y una perrita cuando cierro mis ojos
soy una bailarina bailando por todas partes
