This week on Open Air, host David Latulippe talks with Michael Begale and Giacomo Digrigoli, members of the Golden Gate Men’s Chorus, about upcoming concerts in collaboration with the SF Girls Chorus, this weekend (March 25 and 26), featuring the Requiem by Maurice Duruflé.

Also, a conversation with Rachel Rosen, Director of Programming for the San Francisco International Film Festival, which starts on April 5 and celebrates its 60th anniversary this year.

Conductor Benjamin Simon stops by to share details about the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra’s Gala, titled ‘SFCOgoes to the Movies’, this Sunday at Fort Mason.

From the Peninsula Symphony Orchestra, we talk to conductor Mitchell Klein about the ensemble’s concerts in San Mateo (Friday) and Campbell (Saturday), featuring trumpet soloist Mary Elizabeth Bowden, who also joins us in the studio, in Alexander Arutunian’s Trumpet Concerto.

Plus, we briefly check in with violinist Kate Stenberg, who performs on Friday with pianist Sarah Cahill at the Presido Officer’s Club.
