California Senate Bill 1262 passes from committee // East Bay Express               California Medical Assn. opposes it; law enforcement endorses it. 

California Assembly Bill 1894 also leaves committee // asmdc.org         Comprehensive bill would regulate cannabis statewide, while still allowing local control.

Critics could legitimately call the revelers “those dirty pot smokers,” after the park was left blanketed in refuse. Again.
