San Francisco's "Transit Tower" – the proposed 60 story, 1,070 feet tall, glassy white high rise – has resurfaced following the Planning Department’s long-term plan wrap-up. According to new plans submitted to the city, the building will contain 1.35 million square feet of office space and will be accompanied by a half-acre public plaza. With 220 feet over the Transamerica Pyramid, this would become San Francisco’s tallest building. Construction could begin late next year.
