Alan talks with Joy Carlin, who is directing "Body Awareness" for the Aurora Theatre in Berkeley, with her daughter Nancy, who is directing "Arms and the Man" for Center Repertory in Walnut Creek, and with Nancy's husband, actor Howard Swain, who is appearing in "Body Awareness." Dianne Keogh also stops by to talk about recent cultural events with Alan.

Sunday, January 22 from 4-6pm.   Music Director Joana Carneiro leads the orchestra in Brahms' "Symphony No. 3", the Bay Area Premiere of Enrico Chapela's "Li Po", and the Shostakovich "Cello Concerto No. 1" with cellist Johannes Moser.   Alan Farley is broadcast host, with an interview feature with soloist Johannes Moser.  (concert recorded 10/27/11 in Zellerbach Hall)

Thursday, 1/19 at 1pm.  Alan talks with conductor Pablo Heras-Casado, who is leading the San Francisco Symphony this week in a program of music by Stravinsky, Ravel, Dallapiccola, and de Falla.

Recorded in London, Alan's guest is musician and actor Stefan Bednarczyk, who performed at the annual Noel Coward Birthday Celebration and was music director for a new musical version of The Importance of Being Earnest.  

Host Alan Farley talks with violinist Christian Tetzlaff, who is playing the Gyorgy Ligeti Violin Concerto this week with Michael Tilson Thomas and the San Francisco Symphony.
