Join a live taping of Your Call in our series HEAR, Histories of Exclusion and Resistance. Our next live show is on June 6 at Stage Werx in San Francisco. The event is open to the public and free. Reserve your tickets at Eventbrite.
On June 6, 6 p.m. we’ll talk about how organizers, lawyers and activists are building solidarity across communities to protect civil rights and liberties in the face of Islamophobia, anti-immigrant rhetoric and racial discrimination. Aguilar will be in conversation with attorney Don Tamaki, law professor Bill Ong Hing, and Leila Sayed-Taha of the Arab Resource and Organizing Center. More details here.
HEAR is made possible by funding from the California State Library's California Civil Liberties Public Education Program.
