Your Call is producing a series of events exploring the connections between Japanese American incarceration during WWII and modern threats to civil liberties. We’re calling it “HEAR: Histories of Exclusion And Resistance.”

At our next live show, host Rose Aguilar will speak to Oakland writer Chizu Omori, who at 12 was incarcerated in a WWII camp. Gilda Temaj Marroquin will also share her story about crossing the US-Mexico border at 16 and the time she spent in two detention centers. We'll also hear from Faith in Action students
