Your Call: An inside look at the Democratic National Convention

Jul 28, 2016

On the July 29th edition of Your Call, it’s our Friday media roundtable. This week, we’ll discuss coverage of the Democratic Convention and big money.

Last year, the DNC lifted a 2008 ban that barred lobbyists and corporate PACs from funding the convention. This year's sponsors and funders include Lockheed Martin, Twitter, Walmart, Monsanto, and Facebook. We’ll also talk about leaked DNC internal emails, which reveal how big money really works. Join the conversation, on the next Your Call, with Rose Aguilar and you.

Guests:

Lesley Clark, White House correspondent for McClatchy Newspapers

Dave Levinthal, senior political reporter at The Center for Public Integrity

Will Bunch, senior writer for the Philadelphia Daily News, and author of its popular blog, Attytood
