Work with Marty Nemko, 6/13/19: What leaders are like behind the veneer

Leaders of companies, nonprofits, and government generally have a polished demeanor but much lurks behind. That is revealed in Doris Kearns Goodwin's new book, Leadership, which looks behind the image of Presidents Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, FDR, and Lyndon Johnson. I'll discuss it with my wife, Dr. Barbara Nemko, the 7-national award winning Napa County Superintendent of Schools who has been in the role for two decades and knows many other leaders. In the program's 2nd segment, listeners can call in for a Workover. We'll do our best to help solve your work problem or that of someone you care about.

Work with Marty Nemko is heard every Thursday from 7 to 8 PM on KALW 91.7 FM in San Francisco and worldwide on KALW.org

The programs are archived as a podcast, which is available on NPR.org, iTunes, and in perpetuity on this web page.
