If you love soul and R&B records from the 50’s and 60’s, and are looking to dance tonight, stop by the Knockout on Mission Street in San Francisco. From 10pm onwards, KALW'sAshleyanneKrigbaum is spinning records with other local DJs.

Tomorrow, McLaren Park in San Francisco celebrates 44 years of musical performances and everyone is invited. The party kicks off in the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater at 1:00 p.m. with a tribute to B. B. King presented by SFArtsEverywhere. More details can be found at mclarenparksf.org.

Do you love all things autumnal? Does the sight of fields of pumpkins bring you joy beyond description? Then you’ll probably want to check out The Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival happening Saturday and Sunday. Annual festivities include a display of gigantic, heavyweight-champion pumpkins; live music; and the Great Pumpkin Parade on Sunday.

"Stone River" by Andy Goldsworthy, part of Stanford's outdoor art collection.

If you’re not in the mood for big crowds, we recommend Stanford’s Outdoor Sculpture Walk. The university’s outdoor art collection includes nearly 100 figurative and abstract works from sculptors like Auguste Rodin and Mark di Suvero. The walk begins at 11:30am at the Cantor Arts Center on the Stanford campus. They offer the tour every third Sunday of the month, same time, rain or shine.

Is there an event happening this weekend that you'd like folks to know about? Feel free to add it below in the comments section.
