On this edition of Your Call, we’ll discuss yesterday's United Nations Climate Action Summit in New York City.
Sixty countries have promised to achieve net-zero emissions by the year 2050, while others are still expected to remain coal-dependent. The United Nations secretary general, Antonio Gueterres, implored world presidents and prime ministers not to build new coal plants after 2020. We'll also discuss the international climate crisis lawsuit filed by 16 youth from 12 countries.
