On this edition of Your Call, we’ll have a conversation about blindness and vision impairment with members of the Seva Foundation, an organization that provides sight-saving surgeries and other eye care services to people in underserved communities around the world.
According to Seva, 246 million people live with vision impairment; 35 million are blind. These numbers are projected to triple by 2050. Seva says 80 percent of all vision impairment can be prevented or cured. What will it take to ensure eyesight is a universal right?
