"The Price of Free" highlights the movement to end child slavery

Still from "The Price of Free"

On this edition of Your Call, we explore the fight to end child slavery. You probably use something every day – your coffee, your shoes, your phone – that was produced, in part, by child labor.

The US Department of Labor estimates four million children worldwide are trapped in slavery. Kailash

Satyarthi has been fighting to end child slavery for decades, rescuing children and confronting traffickers. We’ll meet Kailash and discuss The Price of Free, a new documentary about his team's work in India and around the globe. They have rescued more than 80,000 children. What will it take to ensure every child is free?

Guests:

Kailash Satyarthi, children’s rights activist, 2014 Nobel Peace Prize laureate, founder of Bachpan Bachao Andolan, the Global Campaign for Education, GoodWeave International, and the Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation

Derek Doneen, director of The Price of Free, which debuts on YouTube on November 27
