One Planet: How big meat and dairy are heating up the planet

Jul 15, 2019

On this edition of Your Call’s One Planet series, we're discussing a new report from The Institute for Agriculture & Trade Policy about the meat and dairy industries.

It found that the five largest meat and dairy corporations combined, including JBS, Tyson, and Cargill, emit more greenhouse gas emissions then Exxon, Shell, or BP. The report says the climate community's attention has been focused on fossil fuel companies. It is time we broaden our focus to include the meat and dairy industry.
