Students, parents and activists march in Krakow, Poland on September 20, 2019.

On this edition of Your Call's media roundtable, we'll discuss coverage of today's global climate strikes. The turnout so far, from the Pacific Islands to Europe, has been massive. We'll also discuss the Covering Climate Now Project. More than 300 media outlets, including KALW, have been covering the climate crisis all week.

Later in the show, we'll get an update on the General Motors strike. On Monday, up to 50,000 hourly employees walked off the job after contract negotiations broke down. GM's CEO Mary Barra's $22 million compensation was 281 times that of the median GM worker, according to the Detroit Free Press.
