On the next Your Call, we’ll ask how California should rebuild, and who should be held accountable, after devastating wildfires.

More than six months after the Camp Fire, survivors are still in need of resources. PG&E, whose equipment was found to have sparked the fire, may create an $11 billion fund to settle claims related to wildfires. Who should take responsibility for restoring some sense of normalcy to survivors, and making sure the state is better prepared for future burns?

Guests:

Eric Loftholm, cofounder of Paradise Adopt A Family, an initiative to connect fire survivors with people willing and able to help them meet their immediate needs

Mike Wara, senior research scholar at the Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment, member of California’s Commission on Catastrophic Wildfire Cost and Recovery

Jamie Court, President and Chairman of the Board of Consumer Watchdog
