Wee Willie Walker & The Anthony Paule Soul Orchestra and their recording After A While have received nominations for five Blues Music Awards.
A Soulman’s Soulman, born in Mississippi and raised in Memphis, unrivaled singer Wee Willie Walker sets the bar high for those who wish to climb aboard the SoulTrain. Anthony Paule has been a mainstay of the Bay Area music scene for many years, touring and recording with luminaries such as Charlie Musselwhite, Maria Muldaur, John Nemeth, and others. Along with Oakland native Terrie Odabi they'll be performing at Yoshi's this Thursday. Willie and Anhony join host Devon Strolovitch live in the studio this Wednesday 11/28 at 9 pm for a preview.
