PC Muñoz‘s body of work includes Grammy-nominated contemporary classical music, CMJ-charting funk music, an award-winning haiku CD, and compositions for film and dance.
On his latest project, Muñoz leads an all-star trio and guest soloists through a lovingly crafted reimagination of Carole King’s blockbuster 1971 album Tapestry. The album will be performed in sequence and rendered in unique new musical contexts -- from funk to jazz to hip-hop and beyond. He and cellist bassist Aaron Germain join host Devon Strolovitch live in the studio this Wednesday 12/19 at 9 pm ahead of Friday's performance at the Berkeley Art Museum.
