Oregon’s new recreational regs OK: dispensaries // MJ Biz Daily  Some sections are “less than desirable,” but those might be corrected when the final rules are released.

“Ask your doctor if marijuana is right for you” // WWNY-TV  Doctors in New York state will need to take an online course before they’re authorized to prescribe medical marijuana. “Only the most motivated” are expected to complete the  $250 training.

Multiple 2016 ballot proposals get costly //  Sacramento Bee  "With the 2016 election drawing near, no fewer than 17 proposals have been submitted for consideration."

Santa Ana dispensary told to close, again // Orange County Register  “An embattled medical marijuana dispensary where Santa Ana police were filmed during a May raid purportedly eating pot edibles was searched by officers again Monday and ordered to close” because they are operating without a permit.

Spelling Counts: Arkansas AG kills marijuana bill over typos // RT.com  “A proposed amendment to the state constitution was rejected by Attorney General Leslie Rutledge on Monday over grammar errors and ambiguity. The “Arkansas Cannabis Amendment” will have to be resubmitted, Rutledge said.

Cannabis medical spray has mixed results // Pain News Network   A new test of Sativex “worked no better than a placebo in treating cancer pain” in the U.K. Yet US patients improved in a “statistically significant” manner.
