Philanthropists constantly talk about changing the world by using market-based “win-win” solutions. Giridharadas says elites embrace ways of thinking that focus on the victim, but leave the perpetrator unnamed and unaccountable. What can be done to end this charade and embrace real solutions to the world’s most difficult problems?
