We just had the full blood wolf moon behind all those rain clouds last night.

This full Moon was named the Full Wolf Moon because wolves were more often heard more at this time outside villages. It is also known as the Old Moon. To some Native American tribes, this was the Snow Moon, but most applied that name to the next full Moon, in February.
