Mario Butzner

Mario Butzner oversees day to day operations at KALW , supervising the staff announcers, and making sure you are able to hear all the great programs available on KALW.

Mario Butzner is a radio broadcasting veteran whose career includes stations such as KGO, KNBR, KSAN, KKSF, KABL, KIOI, KITS and many more.

He is also an experienced audio engineer and voiceover artist having produced hundreds of radio commercials and podcasts, including Gas Station Radio where he was the "voice" at the pump at over 1200 gas stations nationwide.

At KALW, Mario is back at one of his true loves - the day to day operation of a radio station.
