Buddhism at Work?

Sometimes, it seems that the Bay Area's most popular religion  is Buddhism. Well, Franz Metcalf, in his book, Being Buddhist at Work, argues that that religion indeed belongs in the workplace, to the betterment of the employee and the employer. He'll be my guest on the Feb. 22, 2015 edition of Work with Marty Nemko. In the program's second segment, you can call in for a Workover--Whatever career conundrum ails you or someone you care about, I can usually help.

Work with Marty Nemko is heard every Sunday from 11 AM to noon on 91.7 FM, KALW, San Francisco, streamed live worldwide on KALW.org and archived on the NPR site for a week, on iTunes and on KALW.org in perpetuity.

Marty Nemko was called "job coach extraordinaire" by U.S. News and "The Bay Area's best career coach" by the San Francisco Bay Guardian. He has written 20 essays in TIME's Ideas section, and 1240 for PsychologyToday.com. Previously, his career column appeared for six years in the San Francisco Chronicle and then wrote The Big Idea continuing series on WashingtonPost.com and the Working it Out column on TheAtlantic.com.
