Local comedian Alexandria Love uses her radio essay to explore the power of communication in comedy, and what that has meant for Black communities.

"Black comedy served the purpose of bashing white supremacy since the days of our enslavement. Only now the tide has turned. White audiences are no longer the default. We don't write jokes for you anymore."
