Consider yourself a dad? If so, free cartoons are in store for you this Sunday.

We have a few suggestions for you on what to do around our Bay Area this weekend.

Tonight, San Francisco’s Bayview neighborhood will turn into one big block party with 3rdon Third, the pop-up arts and music program featuring live poetry, theatre, and music performances, as well as food from local restaurants. The program tonight celebrates Juneteenth, the holiday that commemorates the abolition of slavery in the U.S. and will include spoken word performances by artists from the Museum of African Diaspora. The party starts at 5 o’clock at 3rd Street and Oakdale in San Francisco. More details can be found at 3rdonthird.com.

The country’s oldest gay bar, Oakland’s White Horse Inn will host a special event on Saturday evening to raise funds to help the victims of the recent massacre at Orlando’s Pulse night club. Local bands MALL WALK, NINETEENEIGHTYEIGHT, Disappearing People, and The Peels will all perform, and all proceeds from the show will go to Equality Florida. First band goes on at 5 o’clock at the White Horse, 6551 Telegraph Avenue, Oakland.

Sunday is Father’s Day, and the Charles M. Schulz Museum, along with Charlie Brown and Snoopy, will welcome all dads with free admission to its galleries in Santa Rosa. Proof of fatherhood is not required, it’s all honor-system-based, so if you have a kid in your life and you consider yourself a dad, free cartoons are waiting for you at the museum this Sunday. You can find more details at their website schulzmuseum.com.
