Kronos Festival for Terry Riley ~ Frameline 39 ~ SFSymphony Beethoven Fest

This week, violinist David Harrington shares details about a three-day festival of concerts that Kronos Quartet & Kronos Performing Arts Association is presenting in honor of composer Terry Riley’s 80th birthday next week, which will feature four world premieres; Sarah Cahillshares details about her special piano tribute to Terry Riley this Friday as well; Peter Stein, Senior Programmer for Frameline talk about this week’s screenings for Frameline39: the San Francisco International LGBTQ Film Festival; and pianist Jonathan Biss talks about Beethoven.  He’s performing with the San Francisco Symphony this week as the symphony closes its season with a massive Beethoven festival.  Open Air with David Latulippe, heard live on Thursday, 6/18/15 at 1pm.
