KALW seeks a Program Information Manager
91.7 KALW-FM, San Francisco seeks candidates for the position of Program Information Manager, the station’s point person for managing programming, event, and sponsorship information, both within the station and to the public.
- Creating program traffic logs; scheduling underwriting credits, program promotion, and fundraising promotion.
- Editing copy for KALW’s air, website and social media.
- Overseeing weekly programming and traffic meetings, and distributing information from those meetings to on-air and engineering staff.
The ideal candidate will have experience in radio operations; excellent writing and copy editing skills; and the ability to build systems to manage and distribute information. Experience working with radio traffic and automations systems a plus, as are social media and marketing savvy.
This is a 20 hour/week position, with a competitive benefits package.
