Fresh from their tour with Kings of Leon, The Walkmen's members continue their unconventional route through the modern pop world with their latest record, You & Me. After two years of writing and recording in Philadelphia and New York studios, hundreds of 8-track tapes were ultimately cast aside as the band settled on the songs for the new album.
You & Me provides a cohesive demonstration of the band's refining process. Drowning in instrumental reverb and the bellowing warmness of Hamilton Leithauser's vocals, the album contains a greater sense of energy and intimacy than their previous works. In a session with host David Dye, the band performs material from its new album.
