These days, we've all got to do that something extra to make sure that the institutions we value survive and thrive.  That's why we're asking you to make a difference for Local Public Radio, even after you’ve made your contribution.  Here’s how:

• Tell a friend – or a bunch of them – why you support KALW.

• Send an e-mail to a friend or your personal list letting them know you decided to make a contribution to KALW – and why you think this station is worth supporting.  If you CC us at kalw@kalw.org, we’ll try to read your e-mail on the air or post it on our website.

• If you use Facebook, let your friends know you contributed to KALW – then make a post about the shows you love on the station.  And while you’re there, join KALW’s new Facebook group.

• If you Twitter, send a tweet – “I just supported my favorite public radio station – KALW!”

If you've got friends who appreciate KALW (or would appreciate it, if only they knew about it), now's the time to take a minute let them know.  Your good word can have a significant positive impact.  Thank you!
