On the November 5th edition of Your Call, we’ll talk about how California is weathering the drought.
As we enter the rainy season, the effects of the drought persist. Thousands of Tulare, County residents in the Central Valley are living with no running water. 15% of irrigated farmland has been idle for the past year. Tree mortality continues to increase.

What questions do you have about the drought? How is it affecting your area? Are state officials doing enough to promote conservation? It’s Your Call with Rose Aguilar and you.

Guests:

Juliet Christian-Smith, a climate scientist with the Climate and Energy Program at the Union of Concerned Scientists

Ryan Jensen a Community Organizer for the Community Water Center based in Visalia, California

Anthony Ambrose, a tree biologist in the Department of Integrative Biology at UC Berkeley
