Work with Marty Nemko, 6/21/18: Deconstructing Work Proverbs

On the June 21, 2018 edition of Work with Marty Nemko, I deconstruct common work-related proverbs and invite listeners to weigh in to defend the poem or agree with my criticism. In the program's second segment listeners called in for a Workover:  One had a problem with her boss, another was deciding how to get back to work after a long hiatus, a third was deciding what birthday present to get his boss.

I also read some of my work-related poetry: one about unsung heroes, one criticizing capitalism and one criticizing socialism.

Work with Marty Nemko is heard every Thursday from 7 to 8 PM on KALW 91.7 FM in San Francisco and worldwide on KALW.org.

The programs are archived on NPR.org and iTunes, and in perpetuity on this web page.
