This week on Open Air, host David Latulippe talks with choreographer Raisa Punkki about the premiere of her dance performance "Salve Regina", a new work that explores the female form and spirit with an original score by Mark Hertensteiner, starting this weekend at NOH Space in San Francisco. Also, a conversation with Chuck Levine, one of the Board members for Jack London State Historic Park, about the Centennial celebration for Bay Area native son and writer Jack London. Soprano Patricia Racette joins in via phone, in honor of the Merola Distinguished Alumni Award that she receives tonight from the Merola Opera Program. Plus, regular contributor and critic at large Peter Robinson remembers singer Natalie Cole, who passed away on New Year’s Eve, and he also muses on New Year's resolutions and offers some movie-going suggestions.
