Born and raised in San Francisco’s Mission District amidst an extended family of Puerto Rican musicians, master percussionist John Santos has been at the center of the Bay Area’s Latin music scene for nearly four decades.
Santos presents the second installment of his album Filosofia Caribeña, a project he premiered as part of the 2011 Spring Season featuring his Latin jazz sextet.
