THE PLAY'S THE THING: LA Theatreworks presents “Atomic Bombers” by Russell Vandenbroucke. Fifty years after Hiroshima, “Atomic Bombers” takes us into those secretive canyons to meet the cadre of brilliant scientists who worked there. The broadcast includes an interview with Dr. Robert F. Christy, a theoretical physicist who worked on the Manhattan Project. Tuesday 9-11pm.

The discussion was led by Marin Alsop , the Music Director and Conductor of the Festival and included composers Sean Hickey, Anne Clyne, Mark-Anthony Turnage, Jennifer Higdon, Michael Hersch and Nathaniel Stookey.
